Just reading various OK blogs & found you...Hi. Just reading various OK blogs & found yours. <br /><br />I went from 350lbs to 200 lbs in 10 months and the one item that motivated me to start was developing sleep apena (I'm male, 40's). Dropping the weight allowed me to get rid of the breathng machine. I won't bore you with my exact story.<br /><br />but, do you snore? One of the big cues for a physical sleep problem is snoring. <br /><br />I wanted to point out that I did all the same things you did before I got the machine and nothing helped. I went to a sleep lab (after falling asleep while driving in rush hour traffic) and that got me on the machine which lead to a clearer head and then to weight loss. You might have already done this as I have not read your entire blog but go to a sleep lab (get a doc referal) and see if your life-long problem is something physical that they can identify. <br /><br />Regardless; congrats on the weigth loss plan. It is wonderful to to sleep again and do little things like put on my socks without effort!<br /><br />tl;dr = go to a sleep lab and get tested for disorders.
