You may remember a few weeks ago I made the decision to give up sugar after successfully giving up soda.
I'm here to tell you that this is not working as well. It was much easier to skip the soda.
Anyone else given up something like this? Helpful advice?
Maybe sugar was too broad. Perhaps pick the sugary item you like the most and give it up. Mine would be ice cream. And then force yourself not to eat it or anything like it (frozen yogurt, unless sugar free)
ReplyDeleteI just got Jackie Warner's "This Is Why You're Fat" from the library, and she is very against sugar. However, she allows her clients 2 cheat meals a week, so there's still a bit of leeway. Would that help?

ReplyDelete@Amanda- That could help. I stole the no sugar from Jackie's show, but haven't had time to read the book yet.
I did't used to be a sugar addict, but recently it's been a problem. I think I need to go just go cold turkey and get rid of it completely. Maybe I'll start that next week...you know, after the fair.
