Pants on the ground...

This has been one of those weeks where I hate every thing I put on before work. I've left the house every morning this week with piles of perfectly good clothes on my bed and in the floor, all deemed too horrible to wear.

In reality I have a lot of cute clothes, a closet filled after years of sale shopping and trips to Macy's. Of course my clothing closet has nothing on my shoe closet, but that's a whole other blog.

No matter what I put on I'm not happy, I feel too fat for my skinny clothes and too fat for my fat clothes. I even attempted the coveted skinny jeans and while they did fit over my less fat ass, they were in no way wearable.

So I went from my known good butt jeans to a pair of jeans that did not make my butt or any other part of me look good. Threw on a t-shirt and cardigan, all hanging loose and looked rather schlubby as I made my way to work.

So now, this is more than a mission to be healthy. It's time for me to lose weight and look more like a make over after picture and less like a before picture.

Time for Couch 2 5k: Week 3 day 2.

Clear Eyes, Full Stomachs...

I was driving back to work on my lunch hour today, thinking about all the things I'd done today and my to do list for the rest of the day when I thought "Wow, I've been really productive and full of energy lately, weird."

It was a few more miles down the BA before the light bulb went off on my head, "Idiot it's because you're being all healthy." So apparently it hasn't boosted my brain power enough to catch on obvious clues.

Other than that massive mind fart, I really have been crossing off a lot of stuff off my to do list (I really have like 8 to do lists cause I'm super anal-retentive) and even have time to run and work out.

But in full disclosure, while on my healthy kick I did attempt to boil eggs and mess up horribly, so Mems wrote this handy instruction manual and left it on the fridge.

Yes, that list starts with remove eggs from fridge, she has a lot of faith in me.

In the numbers game I am down another 3 pounds, and Bella went in for her yearly exam and she's lost about half a pound from her delicate (sausage) frame over the last year. Yay for both of us.
