So after my experience during the 5k and the fact that the weather has gotten nice again I decided to re-training on the trail outside at the park by my house.
I started on Thursday after work with my 5k101 training podcast and my cute pink wind pants. I also put on my Kum & Go trucker hat in part to keep the sun out of my eyes and partly cause I like to giggle inappropriately.
Anyway I took off around the track at Terrace Park and it went surprisingly well. Some of the 2 minute intervals were a bit rough at the end but I made them all.
Today my legs aren't sore and I feel fine. In fact I'm looking forward to the next run.
