The last few weeks all my runs have been powered by the Clash, Kanye West, and the Foo Fighters. Effective, but I needed a change.
I decided for a drastic change and hit up my local library, Nathan Hale, and hit up their CD collection.
I left with Katy Pery, Ke$ha, Britney Spears, and P!nk (well I already owned that one, P!nk has long been a workout staple.)
I came home and uploaded the pop princesses to my Jeff Galloway podcast and last week started going princess on my runs. I kind of love it.
It made me faster, I sing along a little bit, and have more fun on my runs.
The only drawback? When I hear them on the radio now I feel like jogging in place.
