I think I have something against the number 8.
You see I was plugging along training for the Tulsa Run gearing up for the 15k when I got to the 8 mile long run and I just couldn't do it.
I tried it on the treadmill and stopped at 5. I went to the park and stopped after 4. Something in my head won't let me keep going. I haven't even gone running in almost 2 weeks because I've started boot camp.
But I want to do it. I want to mark the Tulsa Run off my things to do before I die list. I've got 25 days to go from my last long distance run of 7 miles to 9. So I'm making my training schedule now. Adding runs in with my continuing boot camp experiment.
Time to tear down this flipping running wall.
